Summer Ayurveda Retreat Cool, Soften, and Refresh

LEARN AYURVEDIC TOOLS TO INFORM YOUR PRACTICE

Summer—with all its sunny glory, wildflowers, and blooming gardens—remind us of abundance. Summer is also the ideal time to refresh your yoga, meditation, and pranayama practice.

Join Kripalu Ayurveda and yoga teachers, Erin Casperson, and embrace the summer season by discovering how Ayurveda can inform your yoga practice. In this week-long retreat, you will:

  • Open to curiosity as you tune into the shifts of the season.
  • Adopt self-care routines to enhance your yoga practice.
  • Learn about the Ayurveda theory behind the benefits of seasonal yoga practice.
  • Practice accessible asana, meditation, and pranayama practices aligned with summer.
  • Spend time on the Kripalu land in reciprocity as you commune with the five elements.
  • Engage in integration practices through journaling, reflection, and connection.

Discover how summer qualities are present in the body, mind, and senses while you experience soothing, grounding, and cooling practices and techniques that refresh the body. Fnd some time in the shade and invite softness so you can easily connect with your heart. Return home with a renewed sense of rhythm and inspiration and tools to maintain your internal sense of equilibrium throughout the year.

NOTE Please bring clothing appropriate for self-massage with oil—such as a tank top, shorts, shirt, or pants that can be rolled up—and outdoor clothing and shoes. Time is spent outside in this program and the temperature varies in the Berkshires.
