Summer Ayurveda Retreat Cool, Soften, and Refresh

Summer—with all its sunny glory, wildflowers, and blooming gardens—reminds us of abundance. Summer is also the ideal time to refresh your daily and seasonal Ayurveda rituals.

Join Kripalu Faculty, Erin Casperson and Emilie Reid, and embrace the summer season by discovering how the practices of Ayurveda can invite space and ease. In this week-long retreat, you will:

  • Open to curiosity as you tune into the shifts of the season.
  • Adopt sense-care routines to keep you cool and nourished.
  • Learn the theory behind the benefits of seasonal Ayurveda practices.
  • Explore seasonal eating, recipes, and digestive remedies in Kripalu's demo kitchen.
  • Engage your senses with the five elements in mindful reciprocity with Kripalu's land.
  • Integrate your practices through journaling, reflection, and connection.

Discover how summer qualities are present in the body, mind, and senses while you experience soothing, grounding, and cooling Ayurveda practices. Find some time in the shade so you can easily connect with your heart. Return home with a renewed sense of rhythm and inspiration and tools to maintain your internal sense of equilibrium throughout the year.

NOTE Please bring clothing appropriate for self-massage with oil—such as a tank top, shorts, shirt, or pants that can be rolled up—and outdoor clothing and shoes. Time is spent outside in this program and the temperature varies in the Berkshires.

This program—developed and led by our own faculty with the Kripalu methodology in mind—is offered exclusively at Kripalu.
