The Flow of Presence Exploring Moving Meditation

CULTIVATE DEEPER CONSCIOUSNESS

Is your life overflowing with doing? Do you long for moments of stillness, presence, and the chance to listen deeply to your own inner knowing? Are you curious about new ways to bring meditation into your life—beyond sitting in silence?

This program invites you to explore the practice of moving meditation—accessible, profound, and transformative. By connecting breath and body, we release deep-seated tensions, awaken intuitive wisdom, and open the door to healing. As the practice deepens, it becomes a catalyst for growth and evolutionary transformation.

Through a combination of asana (yoga movement and dance) and pranayama (breath practices), you will discover how meditation can be a dynamic, embodied experience. We will draw on the teachings of Swami Kripalu, especially the kriya of chitta and prana, to guide us into the flow where energy, awareness, and presence merge.

In this program, you will learn to:

  • Shift from willful effort to surrender practice.
  • Connect to life force through breath and movement.
  • Be fully present to the beauty of the moment.
  • Create a bridge between pure awareness and transformative energy.
  • Cultivate deeper consciousness.
  • Build a sustainable moving meditation practice.

Swami Kripalu described Kripalu yoga as a practice where “postures, pranayama, introversion, concentration, and meditation are all happening simultaneously.” In the beginning, posture may be primary, but through regular practice, chitta (mind-stuff) and prana (life force) become balanced allies, working together in harmony.

This program is open to everyone—both new and experienced practitioners of meditation. Yoga and meditation teachers will also find inspiration and fresh tools to share with their students.

Part of the ongoing Walking the Path of Love series, this program invites you to break free from old ideas of what meditation “should” be and step into a living, moving, breathing path of love and transformation.
