Fall Ayurveda Retreat Root, Ground, and Gather

LEARN AYURVEDIC TOOLS TO THRIVE THIS FALL

Autumn—with all its foliage, cooling temperatures, and cozy fireside chats—reminds us of change and letting go. Autumn is also the ideal time to reprioritize your Ayurveda self-care rituals after the bustle of hot, humid summer.

Join Kripalu Faculty, Erin Casperson and Emilie Reid, and embrace the fall season by discovering how the practices of Ayurveda can invite grounding and ease. In this week-long retreat, you will:

  • Open to curiosity as you tune into the shifts of the season.
  • Adopt sense-care routines to release summer heat and welcome winter.
  • Learn the theory behind the benefits of seasonal Ayurveda practices.
  • Explore seasonal eating, recipes, and digestive remedies in Kripalu's demo kitchen.
  • Engage your senses with the five elements in mindful reciprocity with Kripalu's land.
  • Integrate your practices through journaling, reflection, and connection.

Discover how the qualities of fall are present in the body, mind, and senses while you experience grounding and nourishing Ayurveda practices. Find some time in nature and easily connect with your heart. Return home with a renewed sense of rhythm and inspiration and tools to maintain your internal sense of equilibrium throughout the year.

NOTE Please bring clothing appropriate for self-massage with oil—such as a tank top, shorts, shirt, or pants that can be rolled up—and outdoor clothing and shoes. Time is spent outside in this program and the temperature varies in the Berkshires.
