Program Details

For physical and occupational therapists, nurses, certified yoga teachers, Pilates instructors, trainers, and medical professionals.

Bone weakness is occurring in epidemic proportions around the world. Health and exercise professionals regularly see people with low bone mass in their clinics and classes. It’s important to recognize at-risk individuals because the condition is generally silent, until a symptomatic fracture occurs.

Safe management of this condition is imperative to prevent fractures and increase overall well-being. When a person sustains an osteoporotic-related fracture, quality of life can change instantly and dramatically, and the mortality rate and costs are very high.

In this workshop, you learn how to

  • Identify at-risk populations
  • Teach and prescribe movement according to a person’s condition, as well as their diagnosis
  • Make appropriate referrals.

This program will forever change your outlook on teaching movement with therapeutic intent and a focus on safety.

Note Tuition includes manual and foam roller.
