Discover an intuitive side of yoga that is safe, slow, playful, and deceptively deep. Somewhere between classical hatha yoga, Yin Yoga, and restorative yoga is Lanita’s trademarked Aalamba Yoga®, created at her Gentle Way Yoga and Joyful Movement Center in California.

Aalamba means “support” in Sanskrit, and Aalamba Yoga is customized to meet the needs of each individual, from the largest, newest student to the most stressed-out yoga teacher or executive.

This retreat includes

  • Specific yoga postures and techniques to release physical and emotional tightness
  • A "Yoga for Your Back, Your Spine, and Your Mind" floor-based program
  • Modifications for popular postures so you can practice safely in group classes
  • Highly effective breathing and relaxation techniques that awaken the healer within.
