Shirley Telles

Dr. Shirley Telles, PhD, MBBS, MPhil, is a research advisor at the Patanjali Research Foundation in Haridwar, India, where she directs research on the physiological and therapeutic effects of yoga. She has published more than 200 research articles, seven books, and 17 book chapters, and has received awards from the Templeton Foundation and the Indian Council of Medical Research. An enthusiastic yoga practitioner herself, Dr. Telles received a Fulbright fellowship to study neuroimaging in meditators.
