Krishna Das is at the forefront of infusing traditional Hindu kirtan (chanting) with modern influences. Grounded in the path of bhakti, or devotional yoga, since 1968 when he met his guru, Mahara-ji Neem Karoli Baba, his music is energized with modern grooves and melodies to create soulful chanting that is eminently accessible to Western hearts.
