Dan Tomasulo

Dan Tomasulo, PhD, MFA, MAPP, honored by Sharecare as one of the top 10 online influencers on the issue of depression, is a highly sought-after international speaker on topics including positive psychology, hope, and positive psychotherapy. He is part of the core faculty for the Spirituality Mind Body Institute (SMBI), Teachers College, Columbia University, and holds a doctorate in psychology, a master’s in writing, and master of applied positive psychology from the University of Pennsylvania—where he also serves as adjunct faculty. He also teaches the positive psychology course in the master’s clinical psychology program at Teachers College, focusing on applied aspects of positive psychology. His award-winning memoir, American Snake Pit, details his involvement helping the residents of Willowbrook, the worst asylum in American history.
