Lama Tsultrim Allione

Lama Tsultrim Allione, MA, spent years as a monastic in the Himalayas, the first American nun in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition. She later disrobed, raised a family, and became one of the most respected Buddhist teachers in the West. Founder and spiritual director of Tara Mandala, a 700-acre retreat center in Colorado, she is the author of Women of Wisdom and Feeding Your Demons. In 2009, she received the international Outstanding Woman in Buddhism Award.
