For Western Reiki masters and/or Japanese Shinpiden.
Gendai Reiki Shihan (Sensei, or master teacher) is the highest degree in Japan’s Gendai Reiki Ho and a path to Anshin Ritsumei, or enlightenment, just as Usui Sensei originally intended. This Sensei-level training offers the opportunity to enhance your Reiki classes and raise your Reiki resonance.
In this program, you learn to
- Transmit all four levels of Gendai Reiki: Shoden, Okuden, Shinpiden, and Gokuikuiden
- Use Gendai Reiki Ho fine-tuning techniques and Reiju
- Achieve a heightened resonance with Reiki energy, connecting yourself with Reiki’s essence and wisdom.
On completion, you receive a certificate with the title Shihan in Gendai Reiki, which has international recognition. You become the bearer of an esteemed lineage, occupying the fifth place after Mikao Usui. You also have the support of the teaching manuals of all levels of the Gendai Reiki Association in Japan, and membership in Gendai Reiki America, assuring that the transmission of these sacred teachings continues unembellished.
Prerequisite A copy of your Reiki Master Level certificate is required for acceptance into this program. Please e-mail a copy of your previous Reiki Master/Level III Reiki or Shinpiden certificate to firstname.lastname@example.org. If your previous Reiki Master degree was in Western Reiki, include a brief explanation of why you wish to enhance your degree with Japanese Reiki.
