Through the experience and innovation of generations of practitioners over thousands of years, yoga has evolved into a vast array of tools for self-exploration and self-knowledge. In this retreat, we explore a wide spectrum of traditional and contemporary yoga practices, including individual postures, therapeutic applications, rigorous vinyasa, Yin Yoga, restorative poses, and subtle unwinding work based on Tias Little’s SATYA practice.

This workshop includes

  • Ways to integrate intuition with formal technique
  • Anatomy of the body, movement, and asana families
  • Tips for unwinding habitual muscular patterns
  • Various meditation and movement techniques
  • Bandha work and benefits
  • How to assess and work with injuries.

Theresa Murphy also explores sitting meditation, sound yoga, traditional Sanskrit chants, pranayama (breathwork), guided individual and group meditations, and other ways of nurturing a balanced life. This retreat offers an opportunity to develop an intuitive, individualized approach to yoga practice, resulting in optimal physical and mental health, balance, and awareness.
