Program Details

For all levels.

Learn basic techniques to consciously make your yoga more therapeutic and give you a new perspective on health. This workshop includes yoga practices to ease everything from normal aches and pains to more chronic or acute conditions. Each participant receives an individual assessment, and J. Brown is responsive to individual needs. This program addresses

  • Restoring and maintaining good digestive health
  • Alleviating low back pain from stress or injury
  • Improving joint pain from tendonitis or arthritis
  • Managing depression with behavior modification.

Whether you are a complete beginner interested in starting a safe yoga practice, an experienced practitioner with persistent pain, or a teacher wanting to ensure safety and favorable outcomes for your students, J. Brown helps you establish a set of core principles for a therapeutic orientation to your yoga practice—and an understanding of how to apply these principles with awareness.
