For all levels.

Steven Leonard invites you to experience meditation in a style of openness, feeling, and freedom. Forget all previous ideas of what you should or shouldn’t do in meditation, and recall a more expansive and joyful way of being. It happens instantly! All the accumulated knowledge of right and wrong drops away, and what remains is a deep trust in the natural flow of life.

This retreat includes

  • Early morning zazen (seated meditation)
  • Outdoor meditation
  • Meditation to live music
  • How to find your personal path
  • Discussion of meditation practice and understanding.

It’s time to re-awaken to the simplicity and brilliance within you and around you. Leave behind your stories of the past and soak in each moment of sitting, walking, swimming, eating, and singing. Who knows what else might happen? Come and see.

Recommended reading Stephen Mitchell, Tao Te Ching (Harper Perennial); Osho, Meditation (St. Martin’s Griffin); Paul Reps, Zen Flesh Zen Bones (Tuttle Publishing).

Note Bring hiking shoes, a swimsuit, sunscreen, appropriate clothing for outdoors, and anything else you may need to enjoy the beautiful Kripalu grounds.
