For everyone, including yoga and health professionals.
Come home to the joy that is your birthright. Return to your radiant Self. Beneath your aches, pains, and shifting moods, you are bliss. Let Amy Weintraub, author of Yoga for Depression, guide you through self-inquiry with a menu of yoga practices that penetrate the clouds of unknowing to release whatever blocks you from remembering who you truly are. When you meet yourself shining in the mirror at the end of this workshop, you will be amazed!
Amy offers accessible poses, pranayama, and yoga nidra, along with practices drawn from non-dual and tantric traditions rarely taught in yoga classes. These practices include
- LifeForce Yoga Bliss Meditation
- Mudras to awaken joy
- Mantras for courage and strength
- Meditation and pranayama to clear the chakras and cultivate love and compassion
- Sacred dance
- Nondual self-inquiry in dyads.
Many of these practices are suitable for use in a clinical setting. Healing professionals are invited to learn tools for their own self-care as well as to support and empower those they serve.
