Help students build a lifetime of health and wellness through the practice of yoga. The Yoga Ed. Professional Institute is a comprehensive training program designed to give you the tools to integrate yoga for children and teens into academic environments. Certified by the Yoga Alliance, these trainings focus on the evidence-based physical, mental, and emotional benefits that yoga can provide for children and teens.
Expanding on the foundations of Professional Institute 1, Professional Institute 2 focuses on teaching yoga to adolescents, ages 13 to 18 and grades 6 to 12. You study the internal and external changes in teenagers and how those changes affect their yoga experience. Learn how to successfully shift your teaching to better relate and connect with teens.
Note In order to be a certified Yoga Ed. Educator and/or certified with the Yoga Alliance, you must complete Professional Institute 1 and Professional Institute 2.
