Children with special needs? Perhaps, but we prefer to think of them as children with special intentions.
Learn how to reach the hearts and minds of these unique children with creativity, intuition, and therapeutic tools. In the process, discover empowering Kundalini Yoga practices that nurture you as a caregiver.
This training teaches you how to integrate yoga into the home life and therapeutic treatment of children with learning and developmental challenges, as well as those with physical challenges such as cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.
Using yoga postures, games, brain-body exercises, and affirmative songs, you learn to work with
- Breath, to enhance self-regulation and calmness
- Movement, to improve coordination and flexibility, and help organize the nervous system
- Meditation and relaxation, to decrease stress, promote the ability to focus, and foster peace of mind.
