For all levels.
Most pain in the body is caused by something we are doing. Once we can picture how the body is supposed to work and move, we can change the mechanics of our movements. As a result, the pain disappears—often instantly.
In this workshop, we use the Franklin Method of Imagery to picture the pelvis, feet, breath, core, and jaw, each of which directly affects the neck and back. The practice of imagery paired with yoga creates flexibility, strength, and a feel-good body. As we learn how the body is designed to move, everyday activities such as sitting, walking, running, lying down, and lifting can be done in a way that creates both comfort and empowerment.
Christa Rypins shares her secrets in this weekend of back- and body-care basics. This program is particularly helpful for people who want to do yoga and other activities, but find them painful.
