Join Russill Paul for an Easter weekend exploring what it means to be a mystic in the fullest sense of the word, drawing inspiration from the teachings of Jesus and the great Christian mystics as well as eminent rishis and yogis of the Indian spiritual tradition.

Many yoga practitioners have a hard time with conventional Christianity, but Christian mysticism parallels and complements the yoga path in many ways. In fact, Jesus himself, through his life and teachings, offers a powerful yogic message. Understanding areas of similarity and appreciating the differences can be invaluable for western yoga practitioners who live, work, and teach in a predominantly Christian society. Come prepared for musical, mystical, and intellectual explorations that address both yoga and Christianity.

Russill Paul, a former Benedictine monk who trained simultaneously as a Christian monk and Hindu yogi in India, presents yogic spirituality as a viable solution to the issues that many face within Christianity. Steeped in Sanskrit and sacred Indian music, Russill has been a leading spokesperson for the inclusion of mantra and chant in yoga practice for the last 20 years.

Evening event One World, One Heart: Kirtan with Russill Paul.
