Program Details

Thai Yoga Massage has been described as a form of assisted hatha yoga. Combining meditation, yoga, and compassion, it leads to greater health for both therapist and client. Become a certified Thai Yoga Massage practitioner in the Lotus Palm system, founded by acclaimed teacher Kam Thye Chow.

In this first 5-day training, you will learn a 90-minute massage, focusing on

  • The four foundations (awareness, body mechanics, movement, and massage techniques using hands, knees, feet, and elbows)
  • Massage for shoulders, head, back, hands, legs, abdomen, and feet
  • The main energy lines of the body
  • Effortless transitions between postures
  • Contraindications and safety
  • Client care.

Open to yoga and massage practitioners and laypeople without any experience, this training is also perfect for couples.

Note If you take Thai Yoga Massage 1, you will receive a 10 percent discount on tuition for each of the other trainings. After three trainings, you are eligible for a 5 percent housing discount (to be applied as a 20 percent discount on the fourth training and a 5 percent discount on the fifth and sixth trainings). In order to be eligible for discount, you must register by phone at 866-200-5203. Programs may also be taken individually by people already certified by Lotus Palm.
