Program Details

For yoga practitioners with min. 2 months of experience with basic postures as well as yoga teachers.

Prana Yoga uses chakra sound vibrations and basic breathing techniques practiced while holding yoga postures to bring you fully present, creating a deeper experience of prana (life force) within you. Developed by Jeff Migdow in 1997, this form of yoga sadhana allows you to hold postures longer and with more powerful results. Approached in this way, yoga practice becomes profoundly transformational and healing.

Through this practice, you will learn how to

  • Experience the seven main chakras or energy centers in the body
  • Combine chakra awareness with breathing techniques and creative visualization for healing, revitalization, and stress release
  • Integrate Prana Yoga methodology into your personal practice and/or your yoga classes
  • Incorporate the four elements of nature into your yoga as the ancient yogis did, by accessing the energy of the first four chakras.
