The Jaguar Path is a four-part course that will train you in the use of yogic science and philosophy as energy medicine. Sourced from both yogic and shamanic traditions, this training enables people to understand and activate their innate healing power.

Working with the Inca trilogy of serpent, jaguar, and condor, all sessions will be divided into the three perceptual states: asana for the body (serpent), lecture for the mind (jaguar), and shamanic journeys and techniques for the soul (condor).

The Jaguar Path cultivates awareness of the shamanic power of yoga. Understanding yoga asana as a portal to a profound experience of being increases awareness and perception and leads to a conscious way of living which heals those around us, as well as the planet.

Yogis and shamans are one and the same—men and women who study the human condition and use practices to become their own teachers and healers. The yogic path of shamanism leads to the understanding of the world as a matrix of energy and offers techniques to intervene in the realm of mind, body, and spirit for healing and enhanced perception.

Mechanism of Energy focuses on how energy moves in the body and the space surrounding it. You will learn and practice three techniques of clearing stagnated energy from the body, and how to move energy in a room by creating a bridge of light.

This session will include

  • Energy movement
  • Extractions: ways of dealing with stagnant prana, inorganic beings, and more
  • Jaguar Moves: the Applying Energy Series.

You will also learn sand painting (the shaman’s mandala) in order to move situations in life through the energy field. Known as ritual paintings, these sand mandalas can be used for spiritual or healing ceremonies.

Note The next session is Passwords and Tracking, February 27–March 4, 2011. Sessions can be taken individually. A 10 percent tuition discount is available if you register and pay in full for two or more of the programs at the same time (not available online; please call to receive the discount).
