Matthew Schoening

Matthew Schoening is an award-winning touring artist, composer, and musician. His music has been described as inspirational, heart-opening, and mesmerizing. Matthew is a one-man band featuring a single instrument, the electric cello. His unique live-looping technique involves creating intricate musical compositions and sounds by recording himself live, repeating the live recording instantly, and continuing this process until he projects the energy of an entire symphony. He has performed with Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal and Miten, Nirinjan Kaur, Todd Boston, and many others.
