Beth L. Haessig

Beth L. Haessig, PsyD, is president of the United States Association for Body Psychotherapy. She is a licensed psychologist, a body-centered psychotherapist, and a Kripalu Yoga teacher who works with mindfulness, movement, and breath to help her clients experience the present moment. Her specialties include trauma, anxiety/depression, eating issues, and school psychology. In addition to schools and private practice, she works in a Newark hospital utilizing yoga and body psychotherapy to treat obesity. Beyond her doctorate, she received five years of training from the Institute of Core Energetics in New York City, and one year with Radical Aliveness/Core Energetics in Mexico.
