Owen and Moley O’Súilleabháin
Owen and Moley O Súilleabháin are singers, speakers, composers, and brothers from Ireland. Their familial sound is hypnotic when singing in unison and electric when singing in harmony. Now living in New York City, Owen and Moley have just released an album of original music called Happy Songs and are working on a new album of sacred a capella songs. They have performed with Russell Crowe, The Chieftains, Bobby McFerrin, renowned poet David Whyte, Canadian rocker Alan Doyle (Great Big Sea), and violinist Nigel Kennedy. Director Steven Spielberg also cast them to sing in the 2012 movie War Horse. www.owenandmoley.com
Owen and Moley have inherited not only a depth of knowledge, but a stream of creative talent they have made their own to become one of Ireland’s most exciting and surprising contemporary musical duos, noticed and in demand in Ireland, the UK and the United States.
