Karla McLaren, MEd, is an award-winning author, educator, researcher, and empathy pioneer. Her lifelong work focuses on her unified theory of emotions, which values even the most “negative” emotions and opens startling new pathways into the depths of the soul. Karla also developed the groundbreaking Six Essential Aspects of Empathy model, which makes healthy empathizing understandable and attainable. She is the author of The Art of Empathy: A Complete Guide to Life’s Most Essential Skill and The Language of Emotions, and is the creator of the Dynamic Emotional Integration® education and consulting process.
