Patricia L. Gerbarg
Patricia Gerbarg, MD, assistant professor in psychiatry at New York Medical College, is a graduate of Harvard Medical School and the Boston Psychoanalytic Institute. She practices Integrative Psychiatry, combining standard and complementary treatments. Her research focuses on mind-body practices for veterans and survivors of mass disasters such as the Southeast Asia tsunami, the 9/11 attacks, and the Gulf oil spill. With. Richard P. Brown, she coauthored The Rhodiola Revolution; How to Use Herbs, Nutrients, and Yoga in Mental Health Care; Non-Drug Treatments for ADHD; and the forthcoming Non-Drug Treatments for ADHD and Mass Disasters and Mind-Body Solutions: Evidence and Field Insights.
