Tobin Simon

Tobin Simon, PhD, poet and educator, received his undergraduate degree from Washington and Jefferson College, his master’s degree from Stanford, and his doctorate from New York University. While a professor of English and humanities at Pratt Institute in 1977, he began to collaborate with Linda Trichter Metcalf to develop the Proprioceptive Writing® method. A poet and teacher of poetry for more than 30 years, as well as a devoted writing coach, he is expert at guiding students through the difficulties and satisfactions of the creative process. www.pwriting.org
