Jasmine Tarkeshi

Jasmine Tarkeshi is cofounder and director of Laughing Lotus Yoga Center and School in New York City and San Francisco. Together with Dana Flynn, she opened the center in September 1999 to create an environment that celebrates yoga in a joyous, loving, and supportive way. Laughing Lotus is an inspired expression of Jasmine’s 20 years of intensive yogic study, along with her love and passion for music, poetry, art, and dance. Her yoga CD, Sun Celebrations, is about to be released, and she is currently writing a yoga book, The Lotus Dances Out of the Mud. www.laughinglotus.com
