Dunya Dianne McPherson

Dunya Dianne McPherson, BFA, MA, is a pioneer and innovator in dance meditation who synthesizes Western dance and Eastern mystical movement traditions. She holds a master’s degree from Lesley University in dance, meditation, and creative nonfiction, an undergraduate degree in dance from the Juilliard School, and has extensive training in yoga and Sufism. Her academic teaching credits include Barnard College, Montclair State College, and Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne, Australia, where she was department chair. An NEA Choreography Fellow, she is completing a memoir about dance as a spiritual path. www.dancemeditation.org
