Lilias Folan

Lilias Folan has been recognized as the “First Lady of yoga” since her groundbreaking 1972 PBS television series, Lilias! Yoga and You. Regarded as one of America’s most knowledgeable and beloved yoga teachers, Lilias was called the “Julia Child of yoga“ by Time magazine. She is steeped in many different yoga traditions and now relies on her personal experience and intuition to inform her teaching. Lilias has spent more than 40 years inspiring students and teachers throughout the world, and is the author of three books on yoga, including Lilias! Yoga—Your Guide to Enhancing Body, Mind, and Spirit in Midlife and Beyond.
