Maya Breuer

Maya Breuer, RYT, is the founder and director of the Santosha School of Yoga in Warwick, Rhode Island, and originator of the Yoga Retreat for Women of Color, now offered throughout the country. A member of Kripalu’s Board of Trustees and certified Kripalu Yoga teacher and practitioner of yoga for 20 years, she is a contributing author to Stephen Cope’s Will Yoga & Meditation Really Change My Life? She is currently at work on her first book, Soul Yoga. Maya combines the classical traditions of yoga with a background in music and the visual arts and her life experience as a woman of color to create a sacred-feminine approach to practice. www.mayabreuer.com
