Jean Shinoda Bolen

Jean Shinoda Bolen, MD, is a Jungian analyst, psychiatrist, activist, author, and speaker. She is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association and a former clinical professor of psychiatry at the University of California, San Francisco. Jean is the leading advocate for the United Nations Fifth World Conference on Women, and a former board member of the Ms. Foundation for Women. In July 2014, the 30th-anniversary edition of her Goddesses in Everywoman; the 25th-anniversary edition of her Gods in Everyman; and the 10th-anniversary edition of her Goddesses in Older Women will be published. Jean’s latest book, Atalanta, is forthcoming.
