Childcare Provider

Part-time—Temporary

Kripalu Center is looking for fun, responsible, energetic people to work as childcare providers. The ideal candidates will be imaginative and willing to entertain children with art projects, games, and innovative learning techniques. First Aid and CPR certification is required, but we are willing to train the right applicants.

Responsibilities include supervising the children and maintaining order in the playroom. Must be available to work weekends and evenings.

Dishwasher

Part-time

Join a team of kitchen staff committed to providing excellent food service support. Dishwashers perform a variety of work flows, including heavy lifting, participating in deep cleaning projects, stocking, and cross-training. The successful candidates must be able to stand for a long period of time, have a positive attitude and be available to work weekends and some evenings.

Household Staff Member

Part-time

Kripalu is looking for detail-oriented individuals wanted to join a dynamic household staff committed to upholding high standards of order and cleanliness. Responsibilities include custodial and guest room. Must be available to work any day of the week, including weekends.

Mailroom Associate

Part-time

Friendly, customer service-oriented individual needed to perform a wide variety of tasks in a busy, challenging, and fast-paced environment. Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to lift up to, but not exclusively, 50 lbs. Must be available weekends.

Massage Therapist

Seasonal

Kripalu seeks outstanding massage therapists to work as part of our integrated healing and Healing Arts team at Kripalu Center. Our healing arts services are known for their high quality and compassionate, mindful delivery, which our therapists embody. Applicants must have two years of experience as massage therapists, 500 hours of certification and additional continuing education, and must be licensed by the state of Massachusetts. We seek applicants with a mixture of bodywork treatments including, but not limited to, Thai, shiatsu and Ayurveda. Schedule may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Third Shift Household/Security Staff

Full-time

Kripalu is seeking for a detail-oriented individual to perform a wide variety of tasks. The successful candidate will work cooperatively with security staff and household staff to ensure both guest safety and the cleanliness of assigned areas of the buildings, and responding to building emergencies.

This job requires

  • Ability to understand English and use walkie-talkie for communicating
  • Good physical condition—standing, lifting, climbing, bending, hearing, and speaking are required
  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to shovel snow and ice
  • A positive attitude and the ability to work well with others.
