Financial Aid for Kripalu Training Programs

Kripalu is committed to making its services accessible to anyone seeking to enhance their life and realize their human potential, regardless of background or financial status. Within the limits of its resources, Kripalu provides scholarships to individuals who otherwise would not be able to participate. Eligibility is assessed based on the size and income of your household. In 2007, Kripalu offered more than $400,000 in scholarships. In 2008, Kripalu hopes to increase that amount to $500,000.

Scholarships are made possible by the generous support of Kripalu’s patrons and donors.

Scholarship applications for Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training (KYTT), Kripalu School of Massage (KSM), Kripalu YogaDance Teacher Training, and Kripalu School of Ayurveda (KSA) are due three months prior to the start date of the program for which you wish to enroll. It is important to send in your program application for KYTT, KSM, and KSA prior to or with your scholarship application, as we cannot consider you for a scholarship until you have been accepted into the program.

Educational Financing
Educational financing in the form of student loans is available through SLM Financial, a Sallie Mae Company for those pursuing a Kripalu training program at Kripalu Center. Please contact SLM Financial for more information or to apply for a loan. You can be notified very quickly online about whether or not you are eligible for an educational loan. Loan interest rates start at Prime and go up from there, depending on your credit rating. SLM recommends getting a cosigner, whether or not one is necessary, as it can significantly reduce the interest rate.
