Additional Faculty for LifeForce Yoga® Practitioner Training for Depression and Anxiety: Level 1

Joy BennettJoy Bennett, E-RYT 500, LFYP-2 is the LifeForce Yoga mentoring director. An experienced yoga therapist, Joy maintains a private practice in Providence, Rhode Island, and the Joyful Breath Yoga Therapy studio, in Swansea, Massachusetts. She offers classes for relief from depression and anxiety for adults and children and has been on faculty for the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute since 2007. As a LifeForce Yoga Educator, she teaches LifeForce Yoga weekend workshops internationally. Numerous articles and books feature her work, including Yoga Skills for Therapists, by Amy Weintraub, and Non-Drug Treatments for ADHD, by Patricia Gerbarg and Richard P. Brown.

Rose KressRose Kress, E-RYT 500, LFYP-2, mentor, and educator, is a yoga therapist and the program and education director for the LifeForce Yoga Healing Institute. Through her practice of LifeForce Yoga, Rose has recovered from an anxiety disorder and chronic pain. She works to bring this healing to the clients and students whom she serves. Rose teaches LifeForce Yoga classes, private sessions, and workshops throughout Arizona, and travels internationally with Amy Weintraub to teach as a part of the LifeForce Yoga Practitioner Training.

Kat LarsenKat Larsen, RYT, LFYP, is a LifeForce Yoga Level 2 Practitioner and yoga teacher. She teaches at Women’s Hope, a residential treatment center for women in recovery at the Shattuck Hospital in Boston. She integrates LifeForce teachings and practices by inviting the student/client to listen to their bodies, move compassionately, and bring awareness to what arises. Kat is a graduate of Iyengar teacher training, two RYT teacher certifications, and is on the faculty for LifeForce Yoga Level 1 training at Kripalu.
